Grant that love, strengthened by the Sacrament of marriage, might show mightier than all the weaknesses and trials by means of which our families generally move. Annually, over a million American kids endure the divorce of their dad and mom. A married mother and pop sometimes make investments more time, affection, and oversight into parenting than does a single mother or father; as importantly, they tend to monitor and improve the parenting of one another, augmenting one another’s strengths, balancing one another’s weaknesses, and lowering the risk that a toddler can be abused or uncared for by an exhausted or offended dad or mum. Couples who take a permissive view of divorce are considerably much less probably to invest themselves of their marriages and fewer prone to be happily married themselves. Research constantly finds that boys raised by their own fathers and mothers in an intact, married family are much less more likely to get in hassle than boys raised in different family situations.

One other motive why a divorce legislation will probably be catastrophic is the very negative impact it may have on the already disadvantaged children of the married people among the more than 10 million Overseas Filipino Employees (OFWs).
